Masks Verde was an attempt to paint on a smaller scale. This small painting works well in every gallery, every wall, and room environ it is placed.
This neo cubist tone-on-tone monochromatic painting is chock full of 3 dimensional texture. I intentionally made the faces smooth and the geometric background are painted with an acrylic paint with a great deal of pumice gel added to it.
The twin masked faces capture two personalities, two moods, two different races, two separate depictions of beauty, two feminine spirits that are alike yet singularly distinct.
