| While living In Hawaii in the early 1990's, I painted 'Punaluu Girl' and named her after a beach on the windward side of Oahu. It was during the Art Deco Era that Hawaii became a prime vacation destination. The vibrant colors of the islands worked well with the geometric forms of Art Deco. Unlike most of my paintings this one comes to you in a simple black wooden frame. |
