| I refer to 'Redhead' as being a cross-over painting as she has design elements that could be classified as Victorian or Romantic Gothic. Yet, because she has many of my signature geometric lines and shapes I thought she should be here in the Art Deco Gallery. Throughout history artists have always had a passion for painting redheads and I am no different. This is a favorite painting. Many people have asked if 'Redhead' is meant as a self portrait. It is not. |
