In the early 199O's, I created a series of paintings using Egyptian Art Deco as the motif and inspiration.
All of the painting from that series have been sold, you can view the series as it is on display on the next page. During my "Egyptian Period" II had a huge one woman art show and my niece and sister were coming to visit.
I thought it would be great fun to put a painting of my niece Billi into that show. So I took a wonderful photo I had of her and used it as the pose. I also took a lot of liberties by changing her hairstyle completely and adding the Egyptian headress and jewelry. Still I did capture Billi's beautiful blues eyes. This is a favorite painting. It hangs in my bedroom and I never get tired of waking up to it. It is here to be shared with you, but it is NOT FOR SALE.
