| I Have A Strong Affection For Paintings With A Limited Color Palette. With 'Winter Watch' I Was Trying To Move Away From The Sinister Content That Typifies Most Gothic Artwork. Instead I Slanted Towards Romanticism. The Gray Blue of Winter and Trees that are Bare of Foliage were my Inspiration and I used Victorian Influenced Clothing on the Figures. But There Is Still A Strong Art Deco Influence. This Painting is SOLD |
