| The pose and the brooding essence of this young man I borrowed from a photograph that was taken at Sanctuary, a Gothic Nightclub in San Francisco. The name Eristov I found while researching Russian names on the internet. The figures in my paintings are for the most part fictous and come to me through dreams, fantasy, and a vivid imagination.
