I went in a different directon with this painting. I was thinking from an aerial perspective of roads, highways and turnpikes, keeping them direct and linear. The swirling background represents green pastures and wild rivers and was much influenced by Jackson Pollock. (the result is Pollock under control) Thank god the man was never controlled. Green is my favorite color especially shades in the lime green family. This is however, a Mid-Century Modern painting so lets refer to lime green as chartreuse. price: $600.00 |
