| The colors of this painting are light taupe, bronze, copper, and gold. Except for the light taupe all of the paint on this canvas is metallic; the painting is far more textured than this photograph of the painting conveys. The final step was to give this painting several coats of high gloss varnish to give the surface a feeling of depth. 'Metalyk Gloss' was inspired by Art Deco but I think the result is more in keeping with the designs of Mid Century Modern. this painting is SOLD |
