| The original inspiration for this painting, A-mazed, was inspired by both zebra stripes and the Op-Art movement of the 1960's. However, once the painting was completed I decided that it looks somewhat like an aerial rendering of a maze. Colors here on the web are deceiving as what appears to be black is actually deep espresso brown and the light cream was painted using iridescent acrylic paint. |
